RAFW returns!

With just nine days to go until Rosemount Australian Fashion Week hits Sydney once again, our local designers are no doubt feeling the pressure as they put the finishing touches on their Spring/Summer 2011/12 collections. Running from the 2nd to the 6th of May, this year's RAFW will once again be held at Sydney's beautiful Circular Quay and will feature some of the biggest names in Australian fashion design (and a handful of talented up-and-comers as well).
Sisterly design duo Zimmermann have scored the coveted opening spot on Day 1, with local label Bowie rounding out the week at the Cargo Theatre on Friday evening. In the meantime there will be more than 100 designers showing off their summer collections, including Gail Sorronda, Kirrily Johnston, Dion Lee, Toni Maticevski, Bianca Spender, Bec & Bridge, Karla Spetic and many, many more.
As usual, I'll be keeping this blog updated with all the latest RAFW happenings, as well as giving my verdict at the end of the week as to what key trends you can expect to be wearing when summer rolls around once again.
