Plaid shirts: not just for guys...

If you're out and about in Sydney then you'll know that men have been wearing old-school plaid shirts for two seasons now, but suddenly the stores are full of plaid shirts for us chicks too. It seems this trend crosses both genders, and personally it's not for me - too early 90s for my tastes - but expect to see a lot of it this Spring.
Plaid shirts are best worn with jeans as they are meant to be extremely casual. The fitted variety works well by night but if you want to really embrace this 90s throwback, just borrow your boyfriend's shirt and wear it loose over a singlet top. Ah, grunge - I knew you'd be back.
