Havaianas thongs: still on-trend

Even though they're available in just about every surf shop you go into, Havaianas thongs are still a favourite among celebs and us ordinary folk alike, simply because they are just so damn comfortable! There's always been a great range of colours, and the new season's designs include a slimmer strap for the girls, making the ordinary thong look just a bit more feminine.
The base designs are getting more creative too, with skull and crossbones featuring in the men's range, along with other punk images... these thongs are tough, okay! For the girls there are single diamantes tastefully placed on the strap. They're still thongs, but you could get away with wearing them at night if you wanted to.
The thong is part of Aussie culture and as such should not be reserved for around-the-house or the beach only. Havaianas, in particular, work well with jeans, shorts and skirts alike, though not with dresses so much (too casual). The look is relaxed and a bit bohemian, but not in the obvious way like it was in 2006.
When you have comfortable footwear, you're a happier person - so stop reading right now and grab yourself some new season Havaianas. This is one trend that will be sticking around for a loooong time.
