Harem pants

Harem pants are not for everyone, and if you get the wrong pair they can almost look like parachute pants (think MC Hammer) - but the right pair will make you look funky and well ahead of the fashion mainstream. Because they have an unusual silhouette, you'll want to keep the colour as simple as possible - basic grey or black always looks best.
The main features of this style are the dropped crotch with a cinching in of the bottom hem, either at the ankle or just below the knees. Here is an example of how they should NOT look:
