Drew Barrymore's red carpet style

When you think "style icon", Drew Barrymore is not the first name that comes to mind. Sure, she's a brilliant actress, talented producer and is from all accounts a lovely person, but style-wise she's never made a mark - until now. Lately, it seems that when it comes to red carpet couture, she just can't put a foot wrong!
Her style is always varied and she doesn't seem afraid of experimenting, either - check out the sleeves on this gown:
Drew takes inspiration from old-school stars, too. Her look for the Hollywood premiere of Grey Gardens is very Brigitte Bardot, while for the New York premiere, she channelled 20s star Clara Bow.
And at this year's Golden Globes, she absolutely blew the crowd away in her ethereal blue gown and perfect hair and makeup. No sign of her former tomboy style here! It seems that after nearly three decades of being in the public consciousness, Drew Barrymore is finally making herself known as a red carpet glamazon.
