Candy pink, bubblegum pink, whatever you wish to call it, the hottest shade of lip colour right now is the brightest of bright pinks! This is a shade that has been seen on celebs and models for the last few seasons, but has been popping up at A-list events lately with noticeable regularity. Perhaps it's because of the fascination we all seem to have with the 80s - suddenly every 'It' girl and her dog (okay, maybe not her dog...) is choosing bright pink for her lips.
It's no surprise, really. Bright, bright pink is at once eye-catching and innocent, sweet and sassy. Like red lips, it makes your teeth look extra white, and it flatters just about every skin tone. Whether you wear it shiny or matte, it'll make you stand out from your red-lipped and natural-lipped comrades, and add interest to the plainest of outfits.
